Where is Green Goes the Grocer located?
We are located at 29A Templeton St, Castlemaine, Victoria. You can find us conveniently situated in the heart of Castlemaine.
Do we sell only organic?
Our fresh produce is Certified Organic Australian produce only. We buy from accredited suppliers, and choose Victorian if and when available

Our bulk lines are a mixture of Certified Organic, Spray Free or non-organic– The label is clear, and we also list Country of Origin. Australian Grown is our preference.
What does "certified organic" mean?
Fresh Produce delivery Days?
Monday and Thursday are our delivery days for fresh product. We collect from the market, and are fully unloaded and store stocked by 9am
What are your store hours?
We operate M-F 9am to 6pm, Saturdays 9am to 3pm
We trade Public Holidays 10am to 3pm except ANZAC Day, Good Fridy, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and NY Day we close
How do you source your organic produce?
Delivery / orders?
Unfortunately, we do not make home deliveries. We can accept orders for packing – but only for special circumstances (injury or illness). We will reply to all ordering enquiries
Local Products?
We support local manufactures, and happy to stock products that are made locally:

Wheelchair access?
Unfortunately, no – but we can attend to those waiting outside.
We are conferring with landlord and council to make this happen!
When are the peanuts in?
Our number one question! There is only ONE Australian Biodynamic Farm, and we sell their Peanuts from around October to April
